What Made Milwaukee Famous

"What Made Milwaukee Famous are mixing up elements of all different genres and creating their own sonic smoothie. They go from loud to soft to sensitive to detached quite quickly-and, it must be said, quite effortlessly. It's melodic, it's smart, it's intelligent, and it sounds like everything you probably like and nothing you've probably heard." - Mundane Sounds

Gorilla vs Bear got me hooked to What Made Milwaukee Famous with the song "Hellodrama." Their songs are perfectly crafted pop songs that sparkle as brightly as your favorite song by The Shins. WMMF is playing four shows in New York this week, but I'm going to check out at Southpaw tomorrow night. Wes also let me know that The Undisputed Heavyweights are playing a show with WMMF on March 31st. This sounds equally delicious, so it looks like I will get my fill of the Milwaukee boys from Austin.

Hellodrama (the song that started it all)
